
Frustrated by society's desire to place Black women in factions based on their hair, TV preferences, profession, education level, relationship status, and more, Reecie Colbert founded BlackWomenViews Media in 2018 as a space that centers on multi-faceted Black women who refuse to be boxed in.
Reecie Colbert is the founder of BlackWomenViews Media. She is renowned for her unique mix of bold, intelligent, and unfiltered commentary. Colbert is a political and culture commentator appearing weekly on the Roland Martin Unfiltered Show and the Clay Cane Show on SiriusXM radio.
Not only is Colbert a fan-favorite commentator, but she has also proven she can expertly handle hosting duties. She has hosted the 2-hour Clay Cane Show on SiriusXM UrbanView satellite radio several times. She has also hosted the 2-hour Roland Martin Unfiltered daily digital news show several times. Her hosting has garnered rave reviews from listeners, viewers, and SiriusXM executives; earning her a role as an official SiriusXM contributor.

With Reecie in the host chair, the two-hour satellite radio shows have featured interviews with the Treasury Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo, Star Jones, political candidates and appointees, and calls from around the country.
Reecie has taken over hosting duties for the two-hour Roland Martin Unfiltered Daily Digital Show broadcast. During these episodes, she has interviewed statewide and federal candidates, medical experts, economic experts, covered breaking news and facilitated discussions with the panelists.
On the BlackWomenViewsMedia Youtube Channel, Reecie has simulcasted interactive livestreams for her #UnbossedUnfilteredLive series; as well as for weekly recaps of popular television series.
Since Summer 2020, Reecie has a weekly contributor to the Clay Cane Show on Sirius XM UrbanView every Thursday. She has become a fan favorite of SiriusXM UrbanView subscribers for her unbossed and unfiltered commentary. Reecie has also appeared on the Lurie Daniels Favor Show and the Karen Hunter Show. Reecie is now an official SiriusXM Contributor.
Since December 2019, Reecie has a weekly contributor to the Roland Martin Unfiltered Show every Thursday. She delivers smart and when necessary, biting commentary on current events. She has interviewed elected officials, entertainers, and experts from a variety of fields.
Reecie has appeared on cable news network Cheddar TV several times to provide political commentary; with a particular emphasis on Black women political leaders. She has provided commentary on Vice President Kamala Harris, Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, and SCOTUS nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson.
In addition to satellite radio, Reecie has appeared on AM and FM talk radio providing political commentary. She has appeared on WVON 1690 AM "The Talk of Chicago"
multiple times; as well as Howard University's WHUR 96.3 program, The Daily Drum with Harold Fisher.
Reecie has multiple appearances on the weekly cable news program, Black News, on Revolt TV. Her first appearance discussed the Georgia Senate runoff elections (watch), and her latest appearance discussed the rising gun violence in the DC area.
